“...take your game to the next level!”
Pacific THERx offers “The Power Game” - a unique, tennis-specific, strength and conditioning program. This one-on-one instruction is based on the same techniques that sports medicine physical therapists use with the tour level players to advance their games. Training is focused on the essential elements of the game of tennis - endurance, explosive power, coordination and strength. This enables players to optimally use energy transferred through the body.
Pacific THERx’s physical therapist Alexandra Kalayta, M.S., DPT, has done doctoral research into strength and conditioning in order to optimize play for tennis players. Alexandra is an active USTA player who understands firsthand the demands of match play on the body.
Regardless of age, level, type of play or previous injury, formal training is imperative to condition one’s muscles and cardiovascular systems for the rigors of the game. Proper conditioning helps prevent major injury and repetitive stress injuries that can curtail match play for 6 months or longer. Alexandra’s unique program, The Power Game, is designed to optimize your reaction time and increase your strength and endurance so you always play best game, now and for years to come!
